FAIRFIELD GLADE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
Established in 2009, the Fairfield Glade Neighborhood Watch Coalition was created and dedicated to promoting exemplary neighborly conduct and responsible citizenship within the community. The coalition organized the area into neighborhoods, appointing Neighborhood Watch volunteers who serve as essential liaisons between their neighborhoods and the Neighborhood Watch Program Director. These volunteers play a pivotal role in distributing important safety information and communicating details about community events to their respective Neighborhood Watch groups.
Guiding Principles
The Fairfield Glade Neighborhood Watch (FGNW) operates according to four core principles, often referred to as the “4 Ps”:
-
CRIME PREVENTION: Members are encouraged to observe and promptly report crimes, acts of mischief, or any unusual activities within Fairfield Glade to the appropriate authorities, ensuring a secure environment for all residents.
-
PERSONAL SAFETY: The program emphasizes preparedness for medical emergencies and other urgent situations, fostering a culture of readiness among both individuals and neighbors.
-
PREPAREDNESS: Residents are urged to proactively prepare for potential natural or human-caused disasters and severe weather, enhancing the community’s overall resilience.
-
PARTNERING: The Neighborhood Watch collaborates closely with law enforcement agencies, hospitals, local government bodies, and service organizations to deliver valuable programs and resources to Fairfield Glade residents.
Program Integration
In January 2026, the Neighborhood Watch was formally incorporated as a program within Fairfield Glade Resident Services, further strengthening its capacity to serve and safeguard the Fairfield Glade Community.
